Mine’s a Double

On a cold, rainy morning at quarter to two
a man staggers home, cos he’s had quite a few,
and he looks for his key that will unlock the door
which he opens then closes, then falls on the floor.

With a great deal of effort, he gets to his feet
but a horrible sight turns him white as a sheet.
There are two ghastly monsters intent on his life
and both are ferocious ... and both are his wife.
