This task is beyond me; this load too great to bear.

I’ll try to do my bit and maybe I can share
the burden with those apt to join the fight,
but ask not, I beg you, that I should stand alone.
I fear success as much as I do failure.
The one leads to destruction, the other to a throne
whose government is lost in its regalia.
My head’s unworthy for a crown or for a coin.
I cannot stand while others bend the knee.
This aim is for the world: let everybody join.
Let’s all be superheroes, not just me.
